Description
This series offers its readers the opportunity to watch the girls forge new friendships, to work through difficulties, and to experience the richness that comes with time, perseverance, and forgiveness. These books also show positive (although imperfect) mother-daughter relationships — we’ve found this to be rare in many modern books. We often proclaim the value of classic literature and love that this series centers itself around these works. Food, conversation, community, and classic literature — a combo we love.
If you want to do a few books with low commitment, the Mother-Daughter Book Club series is a great way to go. You can read and meet for a section each season (although we bet that once your girls start reading the book they’ll just keep on going!).
