Description
This is a book to savor throughout the year. It’s written in four parts, one for each season, and should be read with Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women. We recommend gathering a group of moms and daughters (6th or 7th graders) and choosing four meeting times during the year. This allows each section to be read by season along with reading or listening to Little Women at the same time (You can also host it with one meeting if that is more manageable, but Louisa’s book should be completed first). We love this as a read-aloud because of the discussion opportunities and chances to share the moments of laughter and outrage. And, Little Women may be long, but it is most definitely worth the investment of time.
