Description
A young Swiss girl learns lessons of grace and forgiveness as she helps her father and grandmother raise her younger brother. This story wrestles with some hard issues: death, anger, bitterness, desire for revenge. The two main characters, Annette and Lucien, both make choices that bring hurt and harm to one another. We can always use a story centered on forgiveness. It’s perfect for families, boys and girls and best at ages 7-13, but with lessons that are applicable to every age.
